On Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, at the Methodist Elma, Ms. Linda Blankhorst from Op Stoom (Netherlands) conducted a child observation workshop for all 7 childcare organizations on Sint Eustatius.
This workshop was about observing the development of children in childcare to find out their physical, social, emotional, cognitive and creative development through play.
Together, the 7 childcare organizations exchanged various observation methods that are currently being used. Sharing these observations with parents can be a very effective way of having a shared journey that focuses on getting to know the child and gathering a comprehensive picture of the child’s well-being, involvement, and abilities.
BES(t) 4 kids will further support the implementation process with the organizations.
